This talk intends to illuminate the lifestyle of a start-up entrepreneur in med-tech and green-tech, and give key insights to those wishing to pursue this career path.

Presenter information:

Moises Ramos, Founder and Lead Researcher, Drill Surgeries Ltd.

Alex Shakeshaft, CEO and Co-Founder, Enturi Solutions Ltd.

Moises and Alex are both University of Liverpool Masters’ graduates who have both pursued entrepreneurialism with their businesses.

Drill Surgeries Ltd is a MedTech startup developing a powerful Artificial Intelligence that guides doctors in-real time during operations and currently can eliminate radiation from over 10 million surgeries every year. Their goal is to provide a universal AI platform to guide surgeons in a variety of trauma surgeries impacting over 100 million patients a year by the year 2030. At Drill Surgeries, they provide safer, faster and cheaper surgeries worldwide.

UK companies are facing an urgent need to decarbonise, and Enturi has developed a pioneering renewable energy microgrid system to make significant contributions towards net zero goals and future energy security.
